Happy to Troubled to Disappointed and Bitter
Like many negative reviewers, I had good productivity, syncing and support response (for about a year or so). Then their updates came and my Apps on iPhone and iPad completely froze…The desktop client app doesnt seem to work when they roll out upgrades. And then hours of troubleshooting, following directions, deleting apps, temp files, etc… and NOTHING. After a while, support just stopped responding to me in a timely way. I travel around the country and have to give presentations all the time and all my client history were in my notebooks…for me, not having access to my data on all my devices means I cannot prepare in cracks of time (in airports, cabs etc….). The support teams and accounts would not even give me a partial refund of my subscription…even though I proved it was not my devices and had been patient for months. On a good note, this app is spectacular (when it works) to allow launching of embedded docs… The OneNote app cannot do this and thats important for many. My solution?: I use OneNote app and have synced my notebooks to Skydrive (free from Microsoft). Its always updated and now I dont attach so many files to my notebooks.
